The Isolated Pools Facilitator enables users to deposit EGLD, sEGLD, wTAO, and swTAO as collateral to mint USH without any minting fees. The amount of USH you can mint is determined by the collateral value and its collateral factor, ensuring over-collateralization. When users deposit assets like sEGLD or swTAO into Isolated Pools to mint USH, their exposure is automatically redirected to the underlying assets (such as EGLD or wTAO), rather than the interest-bearing tokens. Consequently, they no longer earn staking rewards from those tokens.

The Lending Protocol Facilitator enables users to mint USH using specific assets provided as collateral within the Lending Protocol. Since USH is minted directly by the Hatom Protocol, its interest rates remain unaffected by the utilization rate. Instead, users benefit from fixed rates which are determined through Governance.

The Staking Module is the core product of the USH ecosystem, allowing users to unlock passive income from their USH. Users can deposit various USH LPs from decentralized exchanges like xExchange or Ashswap to generate rewards. USH LPs will generate rewards based on the full LP value, not just the USH portion. The Staking Module supports both regular LP Tokens and Farm Tokens, enabling users to earn additional HTM tokens alongside the fees generated by their LP or Farm Tokens.

The yield distributed to stakers in the USH Staking Module is sourced from the revenue generated by various facilitators that enable USH minting. The Lending Protocol Facilitator earns revenue through minting fees paid by users, while the Isolated Pools Facilitator leverages deposited assets by staking them in the Liquid Staking Protocol and supplying them to the Lending Protocol to generate additional income. This revenue is then used to purchase HTM tokens from the open market, which are distributed as rewards to the stakers in the USH Staking Module.

You can be liquidated if the value of your collateral falls below the required collateralization ratio. When you mint USH, the protocol continuously monitors the value of your collateral compared to the amount of USH you've minted. If your Borrow Limit Used exceeds the safe threshold, up to 50% of your minted USH can be repaid by a liquidator, who will seize an equivalent portion of your collateral along with a liquidation penalty. To avoid liquidation, it's important to monitor your collateral ratio and deposit more collateral or repay USH to reduce your debt.

All users who deposit in the USH Staking Module can immediately begin earning yield on their assets. However, you can boost your rewards by depositing HTM tokens or HTM LPs into the Booster within the USH Staking Module. When HTM LP tokens are deposited, only the HTM portion of the LP is considered to boost your position. To claim your rewards, navigate to the Staking Module Dashboard and select the LP section from which you'd like to claim rewards. For each position, you will need to separately claim both the HTM rewards accumulated from the Staking Module and the DEX rewards generated by your LP or Farm position. Both can be claimed directly from the Staking Module.

To repay your loan, go to the facilitator where you minted USH and select the option to repay the borrowed USH. Once the repayment is completed, the corresponding amount of debt will be cleared, and your collateral will be available for withdrawal. After repaying your loan, you can withdraw your collateral from the same facilitator where it was originally deposited, whether it's the Lending Protocol or the Isolated Pools, by using the Withdraw feature. Keep in mind that with Isolated Pools, sEGLD or swTAO can be claimed immediately, while claiming EGLD or wTAO requires a 10-day waiting period.

Redemptions are a mechanism triggered in the Isolated Pools when USH falls below its $1 peg, designed to restore the peg by repaying loans of users with healthy accounts. During a redemption, the redeemer purchases USH from the open market at a price below $1 and uses it to repay part of a borrower’s loan. In exchange, the redeemer receives collateral from the borrower’s account, valued at the peg price of $1 per USH.

During a depeg event, the protocol identifies the riskiest yet still healthy accounts using a Red-Black Tree data structure. This allows the protocol to efficiently sort and locate accounts that carry the highest risk while remaining within acceptable limits.
